Hi! My name is Megan R. A. Myers. I live in Brampton, Ontario, Canada and I am a Grade 8 student at Brampton Christian School. I like to play sports with my school. Some of my favourite sports are track and field, cross country running, volleyball, swimming, tennis, and badminton. I don't have many hobbies but i do enjoy doing many things such as having fun with my friends, shopping, playing video games, and just spending time with my family. In English class we are learning about different types of poetry and we get to write a lot of poems. I love writing poems but only when I am able to write about things that really interest me. Some things that I enjoy writing about are my sister and brother, my parents, my crazy friends, and my 2 energetic cats. Please enjoy reading my poems. :)

English Quatrain Poem
They’re there with you through everything,
No matter how thick or thin
Without them there by your side
You can get pulled out with the tide

If I could be with my best friend forever
I know I’d be as happy as ever
Together we are very clever
And always succeed in our endeavors

We’re not perfect
We will fight
It’s not our fault
If things aren’t always right

We had a moment
And together we cried
In deep atonement
Our hearts, both shattered and died
